Black Student Empowerment

Ambassador & Workshop Lead • Nov 2024 – Present

Lead professional development programming such as the Polished for Success workshop, which provided free headshots and personal branding guidance to students. Serve as a peer mentor and advocate for Black student support spaces, contributing to outreach, planning, and empowerment events.

Men of Color in Athletics (MOCA)

Member & Event Organizer • Sep 2024 – Present

Support the academic, social, and professional growth of male student-athletes of color. Organize mentoring sessions, leadership events, and community-building initiatives focused on wellness, inclusion, and long-term success.

Student voice beyond campus

Mikva Challenge DC | Student Voice Council

Council Member • Sep 2021 – Aug 2024

Advocated for student voice in local education policy. Collaborated with DC leaders to propose reforms based on student-led research, and built skills in civic engagement, public speaking, and participatory democracy.

McKinley Tech Debate Team

Founder & President • Sep 2021 – Jun 2024

Founded and led the school’s first competitive debate team. Recruited and coached members, led practice sessions, and guided the team to regional and national recognition while mentoring peers in public speaking and argumentation.
